Payment availability varies by service. Please include any required reference information (account number, permit number, or invoice number) with your payment.

Pay by mail

Send checks or money orders payable to Village of Hannibal. Include your account or reference number and a brief note describing the payment purpose.

Pay at the Village Office during business hours. We accept common payment types; please bring any supporting paperwork so we can apply your payment correctly.

Online payments

Where available, online payments provide a fast way to pay from home. If you do not see an online option for your service, please use mail or in-person payment. Online Payments ARE NOT available at this time.

Water & sewer

Include your account number and service address. If you are paying after the due date, please contact the office to confirm any applicable fees before submitting payment.


Tax collection

Payments are processed by the Village Tax Collector. Please include the parcel information or bill number shown on your notice.
Village of Hannibal 2026/2027 Village Tax Collection begins June 1, 2026-June 30, 2026 without penalty. Collection with penalty is through October 31, 2026. See bill for penalty schedule.
Collection in person on the total tax due will be received at the Municipal Building/Village Office: Monday-Wednesday 9am-12pm. Please call to confirm hours or to make an appointment, 315-564-7115 ext. 109. Payments by check will also be accepted in the drop box (place bill and check in an envelope marked Village Tax).
After October 31st unpaid village taxes are returned to the Oswego County Treasurer, 46 E Bridge Street, Oswego, NY 131265, for re-levy onto the 2027 County Tax Bill with additional penalty. For information visit https://www.oswegocounty.com/treasurer or call 315-349-8393.


Permits & applications

Permit fees may apply for building, zoning, or code-related requests. Include the permit or application number and the property address.


Other fees

For miscellaneous charges (copies, administrative fees, or invoices), include the invoice number (if provided) and a short description of the service.
